The SCDA Office was notified of the passing of Ray Hanson.   A number of SCDA Members called the office to let us know of Ray’s contributions to SCDA.  The entire Board,  Staff and SCDA Membership offer their condolence to the Hanson family on their loss of a loved one!

SCDA Resource Library

Dania Meyers is the Executive Director-Elect and will start her official duties on December 1, 2024.  Dania comes to SCDA as a strategic leader with 30+ Years of experience across education, agriculture, and quality assurance.  She has experience in board governance, resource management, and non-profit leadership.  She is very accomplished at aligning day-to-day operations with long-term goals through fiscal oversight, strategic advocacy and stakeholder engagement.

Crandall and Dania will share Executive Director Duties for the month of December. Crandall will officially retire on December 31, 2024.

Welcome Megan Saxton, Office Administrator SCDA

  On November 6, Megan Saxton joined the staff at SCDA as Office Administrator. Prior to her joining SCDA she was Receptionist at Ens Toyota in Saskatoon, prior to that she was employed at Workiva.   She has office management experience, and educational training as a Creative Media Specialist from Saskatoon Business College (SBC) When you call the SCDA Office it will likely be Megan that answers the main line going forward, please give her a warm welcome to SCDA.

It reflects the importance of drainage as a tool for producers to manage water on the land and has a vision of responsible agricultural water management supporting a resilient and thriving Saskatchewan.
