AGM 2025

The 59th SCDA Annual General Meeting was held March 19–21, 2025 at the Saskatoon Inn & Conference Centre.

We are pleased to share highlights from the 2025 Saskatchewan Conservation and Development Association (SCDA) Annual General Meeting, which brought together members, partners, and stakeholders for three days of learning, collaboration, and meaningful discussion.

This year’s AGM focused on strengthening governance, sharing success stories from across the province, and advancing conversations around agricultural water management and stewardship in Saskatchewan. Through workshops, presentations, and roundtable discussions, attendees explored practical tools, policy developments, and strategic priorities that will help guide SCDA’s work moving forward.

AGM Highlights

  • A Secretary-Treasurer Workshop on Day 1 that covered governance, elections, approval processes, and teamwork, providing valuable resources for local association leadership
  • Insightful presentations from the Water Security Agency (WSA) on agricultural water management progress, priorities, and the new Agricultural Water Stewardship Policy
  • Member success stories from CAAs across Saskatchewan, showcasing on-the-ground achievements and lessons learned
  • A Strategic Priority Review session that encouraged open dialogue and member input on SCDA’s future direction
  • The 59th SCDA Annual General Meeting, including board nominations and elections, reports, audited financial statements, and resolutions

We were also proud to recognize dedication and service within our network during the Long Service Awards at the AGM dinner and reception.
